Violet Malinski

Violet Malinksi, 80, of Butler passed away at 2:20 a.m. Tuesday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Violet was born Oct. 20, 1934, in Pineville, Ky. She was the daughter of the late Henry Clay Risner and the late Laura Denny Risner.

She was a Presbyterian. She was a homemaker. Violet loved making pierogies, bowling, crocheting, Elvis and most of all her family.

Violet is survived by four sons, Charles (Kass) Malinski of South Carolina, David (Nancy) Malinski of Butler, Joseph (Billie) Malinski of West Sunbury and Donald (Donna) Malinski of Butler; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Violet also is survived by three sisters, Ruth (Ron) Henn, Lilly Mae Denny and Joyce Risner, and five brothers, David (Rosie) Risner, Mearl Risner, Daniel (Donna) Risner, Phillip (Fern) Risner and Sam (Thomasa) Risner, all of Kentucky.

Violet is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Malinski, who died May 10, 2001, one brother, and one sister.

MALINKSI — The family of Violet Malinski, who died Tuesday, July 7, 2015, will gather from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Friday at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.
