Mildred L. Ombres

Mildred L. Ombres, 81, of Monroeville passed away Tuesday at her home.

Born in Butler on June 13, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Sarah B. Patten Reep.

She was a member of the Saint Bernadette Roman Catholic Church in Monroeville.

Mildred was a registered nurse and worked at the Highland Drive VA Medical Center.

She is survived by two sons, Vincent C. Ombres and his wife, Megan, of Monroeville and David Ombres and his fiance, Bridgette Borst, of Silver Springs, Md.; two daughters, Elizabeth Stockhowe and her husband, Mark, of Burnsville, Minn., and Lorraine Diane Ombres of Monroeville; two brothers, William Reep of Butler and Charles Reep and his wife, Norma, of Butler; and two sisters, Carol Kregar of North Carolina and Virginia Crocker and her husband, Donald, of Spring Hope, N.C.

Mildred also is survived by three grandchildren, Jacqueline, Mark and Jonathan, and two great-grandchildren, Jamieson and Gunner.

OMBRES — Friends of Mildred L. Ombres, who died Tuesday, July 7, 2015, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler.
