Mary Ann Weleski
Mary Ann (Bielski) Weleski, 91, of Cabot passed away on Tuesday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries.
Born Oct. 26, 1923, in Ford City, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Bronislawa “Bessie” (Czelusniak) Bielski. She was a proud graduate of Ford City High School, Class of 1941.
Mary Ann married Edward T. Weleski Sr. on May 15, 1946. They enjoyed 55 years together until Ed's death on May 30, 2001.
Mary Ann was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot, where she was involved with the Christian Mothers. She was a member of the Polish Falcons in Ford City and the Cabot A & R. She enjoyed playing the piano and attending daily Mass before her move to Concordia. Mary Ann's greatest joy was her family.
Surviving are her seven children, Edward T. (Nancy) Weleski Jr. of Georgia, Roseann W. (Larry) Rybicki of Ford City, Kenneth J. (Carol) Weleski of Kentucky, Dennis M. (Debbie) Weleski of Elizabethtown, Karen L. (Chuck) Love of Butler, Thomas A. (Stacey) Weleski of Natrona Heights, and Jane M. Rea of Natrona Heights, 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Paul Bielski, Walter “Vud” Bielski, Stanley “Stas” Bielski and Thaddeus “Tudge” Bielski; sisters, Helen Serfozo and Cecelia “Ceil” Wojton; son-in-law, Curtis “Curt” Rea, and grandson, Mark Weleski.
WELESKI — Friends of Mary Ann (Bielski) Weleski, who died Tuesday, July 7, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Joseph R.C. Church with the Rev. Mark Pattock, OFM Cap., officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Herman.Arrangements are being handled by the Fox Funeral Home in Saxonburg.Memorial donations may be made to the South Butler Community Library, P.O.
