Frederick 'Fred' Hunker
Frederick “Fred” Hunker, 80, of Mars, passed away Friday afternoon at his home.
Born on Aug. 4, 1934, in Wilkinsburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Frederick and Dorothy Schirra Hunker.
Fred was a bus driver for Lenzner Motor Coach in Pittsburgh, providing airline transportation.
He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in Mars.
Surviving are his wife, Cecelia McDonnell Hunker, who he married on June 8, 1957; three daughters, Joyce Hunker of Mars, Cheryl Kurth and her husband, Roland, of Denver, Colo., and Melanie Houghton of Mars; and one grandson, Kevin Houghton of Fairfax, Va.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Henry Hunker.
