Barbara Powell Flinchbaugh, 77, of Center Township, Butler, died Friday morning in the comfort of her home.

Born Oct. 20, 1937, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Jessie Mayne Fisher Powell.

Barbara had been a member of the Junior Women's Club of Butler, the Butler County Art Association and the Butler Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen E. Flinchbaugh, who she married on Oct. 11, 1958, and who died on Aug. 28, 2009.

Surviving is one nephew, David Cubbison of Bedford.
