Tom Brady suspension upheld; Pens deal Sutter

Two professional sports developments have occurred this afternoon in the NFL and NHL.

In the NFL, Tom Brady's four-game suspension for his role in using underinflated footballs during the AFC Championship Game last season has been upheld by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

In the NHL, the Penguins have acquired forward Nick Bonino, defenseman Adam Clendening and a 2016 second-round pick from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for Brandon Sutter and a 2016 third-round pick.

The Pens also signed free agent Eric Fuhr to a three-year contract. He most recently played center for the Washington Capitals.
