Manhattan-based jazz trio The Daniel Bennett Group will perform at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Butler Public Library courtyard. Lori Hinderliter, the library’s executive director, said the concert will act as a precursor to the library’s usual Concerts in the Courtyard series in August.
The free Family Summer Concert Series, hosted by the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department, begins at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Odd Fellow Gazebo at Alameda Park, Butler Township. The group performing Tuesday will be rock ‘n roll band Muddy Creek.
A concert in the gazebo at Freeport’s Riverside Park will feature a band from Canada named My Sweet Patootie at 7 p.m. Aug. 21. Take chair or blanket.
Live at Lunch, the free summer concert series at the Butler County Symphony office, 259on Wednesday will feature pianist Zoe Kecskemethy at noon Wednesday. The lunchtime concerts will continue through Aug. 26. Call 724-283-1402.
Friday Lunchtime Seriesconcerts take place at noon at the Sunrise Rotary Gazebo on the Cranberry Township Municipal Center lawn. Scheduled concerts include the Dixieband on July 31.
