Deborah L. “Toot" Miller

Deborah L. “Toot” Miller, 58, of Findley Township, Mercer County, passed away at 3:40 p.m. Friday at her home surrounded by her family and friends following a courageous battle with cancer since September 2013.

Deborah was born Nov. 2, 1956, in Grove City to Nevin P. and Catherine E. Seelbaugh Critchlow. She married Garry L. Miller on Dec. 27, 1975. Deborah grew up in the Harrisville area attending school, and she graduated from Slippery Rock High School, Class of 1974.

She enjoyed gardening, working on crafts, spending time outdoors and fishing.

Deborah was a homemaker, and formerly she was employed by Wendell August in shipping and receiving. She attended the United Methodist Church in Harrisville.

She is survived by her husband, Garry at home; one stepson, Garry J. Rhodes and his wife, Lori, of Grove City; her parents, Nevin and Catherine Critchlow of Stoneboro, Pa.; two grandchildren, Garry Rhodes and Shyla Rhodes, both of Grove City; one niece, Jaia Orient and Joshua of Berkley, Calif.; and other nieces, nephews and family members.

Deborah was preceded in death by her grandparents and one sister, Linda Critchlow.

MILLER — Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Deborah L. “Toot” Miller, who died Friday, June 19, 2015, to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Deborah’s family would like the thank VITAS Hospice of Cranberry Township for the special care that Deborah received during her illness.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Cunningham Funeral Home, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.

A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeffrey Canter, pastor of the Harrisville United Methodist Church, officiating.
