Pauline “Polly” Mae Everson (née Heginbotham), formerly of Saxonburg, began her heavenly walk with Christ May 23, two days before her 90th birthday.

Polly was born May 25, 1925, in Saxonburg, the youngest of six children to Emma and Gilbert Heginbotham. Polly married Clyde W. Everson, a U.S. Army soldier, on June 3, 1950.

She devoted her life to her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. Polly lived with cancer over half of her life. However, her faith and joy never wavered.

Polly was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Clyde; her sisters, Margaret Thompson, Virginia Dickey and Evelyn Thompson; and her brothers, Regis and Ronald.

She is survived by her sons, Rick and his wife, Marci, of Eagle River, Alaska, and Bob of Liberty Township, Ohio; her grandchildren, Patrick, Katie, Jenna and Kevin; her nieces, Sharon Noullet of Butler and Marilyn Callahan of Mercer; and her nephews, Keith Thompson and Larry Dickey of Butler.

EVERSON — Interment for Pauline “Polly” Mae Everson, who died Saturday, May 23, 2015, will be July 17 at Arlington National Cemetery.
