Dom Bucko's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth inning scored Matt Cornetti with the eventual winning run as Saxonburg stayed alive in the Butler County legion baseball playoffs with a 2-1 win over Karns City at Laura Doerr Park Sunday evening.

Gavin Miller was superb on the mound for the victors, striking out 10 and walking none in a complete game.

Bucko added a single and a run scored for Saxonburg and Hyte Eurich a single and run batted in.

Matt Yough struck out four and walked one in six innings of work for Karns City (10-5), adding two singles and a run batted in at the plate.

Saxonburg (9-3-1) will face Meridian (13-8) in the loser's bracket final Tuesday at a time and site to be determined.
