The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will host several events this week at Alameda Park, 184 Alameda Park Road.
“The Land Before Time” will be the free Monday Movie in the Park at 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Masonic Shelter.
The Family Summer Concert Series will feature “Kittanning Fireman's Band” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Odd Fellows Gazebo.
School pride day will be Wednesday at Alameda Waterpark. Students of the South Butler and Freeport school districts wearing a school logo or showing a school ID will receive half off park admission.
Alameda Story Adventures for children age 6 and younger will feature more from “Charlotte's Web” from 11:30 a.m. to noon Thursday at the Rotary Shelter.
The free Outdoor Discovery Series will present “SurfSup Adventures,” a beginner's stand-up paddle boarding class, at 7 p.m. Thursday at Alameda Waterpark. Wear a swimsuit.

Christ Community United Methodist Church will host “Fun in the Sun” from noon to 5 p.m. July 31 at the Masonic Shelter in Alameda Park, 182 Alameda Park Road.The event is free and includes swimming, games and crafts. Lunch will be from noon to 1 p.m. and dinner will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Children must be accompanied by an adult (16 or older).The application deadline is 3 p.m. July 24.Applications are available at the church at 205 N. PETROLIA — A two-day music and arts festival in Petrolia will raise funds for the Petrolia Borough Park.The event will feature a car cruise, food, live music and a raffle from 5:30 to 9 p.m. July 24.The festival will continue from 2 to 10 p.m. July 25 and will feature a children's bike parade at 2 p.m.
