Butler County Parks and Recreation will host the Alameda Youth Triathlon at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 1 at Alameda Park.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. A course walk-through will be available at 7 p.m. July 31, beginning at Alameda Pool.

The event is designed for ages 17 and younger and will be broken down by age groups. Fee is $20 and the first 48 participants will receive an Alameda Triathlon T-shirt.
