Rick A. Montani

Rick A. Montani, 57, of Cranberry Township passed away unexpectedly May 28 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, N.Y, where he recently started a new career.

Born Feb. 10, 1958, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Samuel and Ann Lawson Montani.

Rick was the manager for the American Freight Furniture Store in Albany, N.Y.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly D. Montani, who he married on March 12, 1982, and who died on May 22, 2007, and his brother, John Montani.

Surviving are two sisters, Judy Porterfield and her husband, Clyde, of Gibsonia and Debbie Montani of Wexford; his brother, Roy B. “Buster” Montani of Callery; his sister-in-law, Susan Montani in Hawaii; four nieces, Kim Montani, Samantha Siegelheim, Robyn Montani and Judy Moore; two nephews, Roy Montani and Mark Porterfield; and great nieces and nephews.

MONTANI — Friends of Rick A. Montani, who died Thursday, May 28, 2015, are invited to a memorial service at 11 a.m. June 27 at the Salem United Methodist Church, 350 Manor Road, Wexford, with the Rev. Beth Nelson officiating.

Burial will be at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Marshall Township.
