Cheryl A. Sodeman

Cheryl A. Sodeman, 66, of Butler passed away Monday at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born May 18, 1949, in Young-stown, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Roy Oliver and Margaret (Hendry) Oliver.

She was an exceptional wife, mother and grandmother. She was best known for her love, devotion and unconditional support for her children and grandchildren. Cheryl loved going to the races. She also enjoyed going to the casino, fishing and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her loving husband, Jack Sodeman, who she married Feb. 4, 1967; her children, Lisa (Paul) Smith of Butler and Jack (Catherine) Sodeman of North Jackson, Ohio; four grandchildren, Taylor, Kayla, Samantha and Jack; her siblings, Roy Oliver of Youngstown, Ohio, Sandie (James) Guy of Poland, Ohio, Kathy Prestas of Struthers, Ohio, Jackie (Lou) Cannatti of Poland, Ohio, and Christine Kurz of Poland, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Mikolaj and brother, David Oliver.
