Free Family Summer Concerts, hosted by the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department, are held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Odd Fellow Gazebo at Alameda Park, Butler Township. Performing Tuesday will be blues group Eugene and the Night Crawlers. The Kittanning Fireman’s Band will perform July 21.

The Musicians’ Concert Band, led by conductor Jeff Kroner, has concerts at Butler Intermediate High School tonight and July 16 starting at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $5. Visit musiciansconcertband.com.

Watermelon Wednesdays at Slippery Rock Park features Muddy Creek with Dennis Grosky on July 15. Call 724-794-8180.

Ayres Foundation Concert Series will feature the bluegrass, folk and classic rock of Wine and Spirit, Nameless in August, The Black Hollow and Union Rye at 6 p.m. July 18 at the James A. Ayres Amphitheater in Zelienople Community Park. Take a lawn chair.

Concerts in the gazebo at Freeport’s Riverside Park will be held Friday and Aug. 21. The band Blackhorse will play at 7:30 p.m. Friday following the dedication of the community dock at 6:30 p.m. A band from Canada named My Sweet Patootie will perform at 7 p.m. Aug. 21. Take a chair or blanket.

Free concerts will be presented by Harmony Borough Parks “On the Square” in Harmony this summer. Eugene and the Night Crawlers will play at 7:30 p.m. July 16. Take a chair or blanket. Call 724-452-7341.

Thursdays in the Park concerts at 7 p.m. in the Rotary Amphitheater at Cranberry Community Park will feature the band Blackhorse on July 16. Admission is free. Take a lawn chair.

Hartwood Acres, Hampton Township, Allegheny County, has free performances at its amphitheater. Mat Kearney with guest Judah & The Lion will play pop/rock at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. BNY Mellon Jazz presents the Spanish Harlem Orchestra with a tribute to the Latin side of Billy Strayhorn at 7:30 p.m. July 19. Visit alleghenycounty.us/parks/hwfac.aspx.

Downtown Sounds Concert Series will offer free concerts at 6:30 p.m. the second and fourth Thursdays through September in Joseph D. Monteleone Youth Festival Park, Grove City. Playing today will be Take Solo, and on July 23 will be Treebeard Brown. Visit grovecityareachamber.com.
