Lewis G. Davis
Lewis G. “Mike” Davis, 76, of West Sunbury, formerly of Butler, passed away Friday following an extended illness.
Mike was born April 7, 1939, in Butler to the late Lewis E. Davis and Gertrude Agnes Snyder Davis.
He retired as a welder from Pullman Standard.
Following his retirement, he had been employed as a bus driver for Campbell Bus and a parts delivery man for Advanced Auto and NAPA Auto Parts.
Mike was a family man who enjoyed gardening, and he was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Mike is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patricia M. Zellerino Davis; one daughter, Debbie Lynn (David) Anthony of West Sunbury; three sons, Robert (Judy) Cole of Butler, Randy (Lorrie) Cole of Butler and Darryl (Patricia) Cole of West Sunbury; 10 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters, Carol Anne Twentier of Butler, Cathleen (Mike) Kondos of Meridian and Donna (Butch) Kirk of Florida; and two brothers, Raymond Davis of Evans City and William G. Davis of Butler.
Mike was preceded in death by one daughter, Traci Davis Fair, who died Sept. 29, 2010, and one sister.
DAVIS — The family of Lewis G. “Mike” Davis, who died Friday, June 5, 2015, will hold a celebration of life service at a date and time to be determined.
