Cynthia Davis

Cynthia J. Davis, 56, of Main Street, Parker, passed away following a short illness Tuesday afternoon at Butler Memorial Hospital with her family at her side.

Cynthia was born in Butler on Jan. 15, 1959. She was the daughter of the late William A. and Maureen McClaine Davis.

Cindy was a 1977 graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School in Foxburg. She was a member of St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church in East Brady, where she was baptized.

She was an avid reader, and especially liked reading Stephen King novels. Cindy enjoyed visiting the beaches in Florida, collecting Precious Moments and other collectibles, listening to Patsy Cline music and watching her favorite movie, “Gone with the Wind.”

She was a proud mother and grandmother and cherished the company of her family. She was proud of having achieved her certification as a licensed electrician.

Surviving are three children, Jennifer Batson and her husband, Phran, of Clarion, Jason Jordan and his wife, Nicole, of Stow, Ohio, and Jared Jordan of Liberty, Ohio; five grandchildren, Brayton, Jarah, Janelle, Joshua, and Gabriele; four brothers, Bob Davis and his partner, Floyd Ishman, of Cleveland, Ohio, Larry Davis and his wife, Peggy, of East Brady, Louis Davis Sr. and his wife, Darlene, of Sligo and Jeff Davis and his wife, Michelle of Parker; one sister, Lynna McNany and her husband, Doug, of Harrisville; and a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Janelle, and one brother, William A. “Bill” Davis.

DAVIS — Friends of Cynthia J. Davis, who died Tuesday, May 26, 2015, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Hile Funeral Home, 1204 Kerr Ave., Emlenton.A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel at St. Eusebius Cemetery, Route 68, East Brady, with the Rev. William Kuba, pastor of the St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church in East Brady, officiating.
