The city’s street cleaning program will begin Tuesday.

Residential streets will be posted with orange or green no parking signs the afternoon before the day the street will be cleaned, and will remain posted until work is completed.

Orange signs ban parking 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays through Fridays. Some streets will be posted with green signs, banning parking from midnight to 7 a.m. on Mondays.

The fine for parking on a posted street is $20. The city police department will enforce the parking violations.

Rain or mechanical breakdowns may require signs to remain posted for an additional day.
