Brain training deadline is July 1

July 1 is the deadline to register for the traumatic brain injury training being offered by the Mental Health Association.

The training will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. July 16 at the association, 140 N. Elm St.

Lifesteps child screenings slated

Lifesteps will offer Child Check screenings for children from birth to 5 years old:

9 to 11:30 a.m. July 6, Butler YMCA, 339 N. Washington St.

9 a.m. to noon July 20, Lifesteps Program Center, 383 New Castle Road

Appointments are recommended.
