Lernerville set to host key races
BUFFALO TWP — This Friday’s Late Model feature carries special significance at Lernerville Speedway.
The winner is guaranteed a spot in the 100-lap Firecracker 100 feature June 27. Lernerville’s points leader will be guaranteed a position in that race as well.
Because this Friday marks the Mid-Season Championships at the Sarver oval, the winners of the other three Fab Four features will also be guaranteed starting spots in key races later in the season.
Winner of the Sprint feature receives a provisional spot in the Don Martin Silver Cup race July 14. The Modified winner gets a spot in the season-ending DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede, the Sportsman Stock winner a spot in the Autumn-Motive Fest Spectacular.
Because Lernerville’s scheduled Fireworks Night was rained out last week, the track will now have fireworks as part of the July 17 race show.
