William Kaiser

William Walter Kaiser, 88, of Brady Township, passed away Thursday at Orchard Manor in Grove City.

He was born in Pittsburgh to Walter Charles Kaiser and Merchett Miller Kaiser. He married Jean Hamilton Guthrie on April 8, 1961, and she preceded him in death on March 9, 1993.

He has been a Warehouseman for Snap-OnTools in Irwin. He was a member of the Center Presbyterian Church. He was a U.S. Army, World War II veteran having been a radio man in the Signal Corps. He was a member of F. & A.M. Infinity Lodge in Pittsburgh. He enjoyed roller skating, dancing, gardening and baking bread.

He is survived by two stepsons, Kenneth G. and his wife, Donna, Hertzog of Slippery Rock, and Keith E. and his wife, Marian, Hertzog of Seaford, Del.; three stepgrandsons, William R., Aaron G. Hertzog, Tyler Paul; and two stepgranddaughters, Tiffany Michelle and Tania Paul.

KAISER — There will be a memorial service at 10 a.m. May 23 at the Center Presbyterian Church, 211 Center St., Slippery Rock, with the Rev. William Mumaw III, pastor of the church, presiding.Interment will be in Slippery Rock Cemetery.Arrangements are being handled by the Smith Funeral Home in Slippery Rock.
