Comics expert to speak at library

CRANBERRY TWP — Local comic book expert Todd McDevitt of New Dimension Comics will speak at 6:30 p.m. June 24 at the Cranberry Public Library, 2525 Rochester Road.

McDevitt will address the vibrant history of this hobby and provide tips on collecting. Those attending can take a comic book or two for McDevitt to appraise.

Those wishing to discover the value of their comics without attending the program beforehand, may do so starting at 7:30 p.m.

Yard sale benefits Lutherlyn camp

SAXONBURG — A two-day yard sale benefiting Lutherlyn Day Camp will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 19 and 20, rain or shine, in Centennial Hall of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 110 State St.

Donations will be accepted, but not electronics.

St. Gregory hosts rummage sale

ZELIENOPLE — St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., will have its annual rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 19 and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 20.

Cubs anniversary marked by fair

There will be a street fair from 5 to 9 p.m. June 20 at Cubs Hall, 113 S. McKean St., to mark the 30th anniversary of the specialty outreach/Cubs boxing program.

There will be boxing demonstrations, music, karaoke, a dunk tank, a bounce house, face painting, hot dogs and snow cones.

Reservations due June 30 for reunion

June 30 is the deadline for reservations for the Karns City High School Class of 1990’s 25th reunion. The reunion will be Aug. 14.
