Accident causes 1-hour traffic jam on Rt. 228
ADAMS TWP — A two-vehicle crash on Route 228, near Myoma Road shortly after 8 a.m., slowed rush hour traffic as eastbound motorists were detoured onto Seven Fields Boulevard.
A woman who was driving a minivan was trapped briefly before volunteer firefighters extricated her.
The other vehicle was an SUV.
There was no information immediately available on any injuries.
The road fully re-opened by 9 a.m.
