FORWARD TWP — A multi-vehicle accident on Route 68 caused a traffic jam shortly after noon Tuesday. There were no reported injuries.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash, including a Honda CR-V, a Honda Pilot and a Ford F-150.

Both Honda vehicles came to a stop, facing south alongside Evans City Road near the intersection of where the road intersects with Old Route 68. The truck came to a stop, facing north along Evans City Road by the traffic stop intersecting Reibold Road and Lloydmont Boulevard.

Traffic came to a short halt as rescue personnel and police responded to the scene. About 12:45 p.m., traffic began moving slowly. Tow trucks came later to remove the vehicles.

All three vehicles had damage. The Honda Pilot received major damage on its left side; the Ford had moderate damage on its left front quarter panel; and the CR-V suffered rear end damage.

The Evans City Volunteer Fire Department was on the scene.
