M. Melvina Hogg, 75, of Greensburg, formerly of Butler, died Wednesday in the West Haven Personal Care Home in Apollo.

She was born in Cherry Township, Butler County, on Oct. 11, 1939, and was the daughter of the late Stephen and Margaret Pressler Hogg.

She was a retired retail clerk with the Montgomery Ward's store and was a Protestant. Melvina loved her cats, enjoyed cooking and had a great sense of humor.

She is survived by her two sisters, Stephanie (Richard) Wolfe and Mildred Millie (Calvin) Edinger, both of Butler, and numerous nieces and nephews.
