Matt Cornetti singled, doubled and collected three runs batted in to lead Saxonburg to a 14-7 victory over Center Township in Butler County legion baseball play on Saturday.

Hyte Eurich, Gavin Miller and Brandon Stull each added three hits while Bryan Jack doubled, tripled and drove in a run.

Miller started the game on the mound and earned the win after nine strikeouts in four innings. Jack got the save, working three innings with four strikeouts.

Devin Fitz singled and hit a two-run home run for Center Township. Caleb Baxter and Tyler Kline both had a pair of base hits.

Nico Romano’s base hit in the bottom of the seventh inning plated Zach Pasquinelli with the winning run in Mars’ 8-7 win over Butler City.

Romano and Trevor Heim both singled and doubled for Mars (4-2).
