School’s Out for Summer Bash, with the funk rock music of Stationary Pebbles and Habatat, will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the James A. Ayres Amphitheater in Zelienople Community Park, as part of the Ayres Foundation Concert Series this summer. Donations will be accepted, and concessions will be available. Guests should take a lawn chair.

Mary Phillips, a singer at Mars Alliance Church, will present a program of her original contemporary Christian music at 7 p.m. Friday at Cider House, One Treesdale Commons, Gibsonia. She is making her first album. Phillips wrote most of the songs, while Ken Townsend of Cranberry Township wrote three. Additionally Phillips is using a song her mother, Jeannie Allen of Valencia, wrote, and one of her brother’s. Admission is free; donations will be used to help fund the album and support St. Jude’s cancer research.

Hits from the ’50s and ’60s by Kittanning band Full Throttle will be played in a free concert on the Haven II patio at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Jefferson Township, following an open house from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Haven II, 148 Marwood Road. Allegheny RiverStone Center for the Arts presents musicians Tom Panei & Friends of Butler for An Acoustic Evening at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Lincoln Hall, 42 S. Palmer St. Panei, a singer, songwriter and guitarist, will perform along with guitarist Greg Muiter, pianist Jessica Sanzotti, and guitarist and singer/songwriter Zach Manuel. Tickets are $15.
