WEST DEER — Three Butler County athletes emerged victorious at The Sons of Thunder Powerlifting’s Powerhouse Teen Bench Press & Deadlift meet recently.

Eli Morrison, 16, of Freeport won the Push/Pull Champion award with a 230-pound bench press and 320-pound deadlift at a body-weight of 118.

Josh Hood, 18, of Knoch won the Outstanding Bench Presser award with a bench press of 395 pounds at a body-weight of 199. Jayden Renfrew, 16, of Knoch won the Outstanding Deadlifter award with a deadlift of 410 pounds at a body-weight of 140.
