Martha Blakley
Martha L. Blakley, 76, of Butler passed away Friday at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born April 22, 1938, in Butler, the daughter of the late Walter King and Luida (Stevenson) King.
Martha had worked at JoAnn Fabrics for many years. She enjoyed sewing, baking and watching her grandson play baseball.
Surviving are her daughter, Sue Ellen (John) Blicha of Brookville, Pa.; three sons, Tim (Lisa) Blakley of Butler, David Blakley of Mercer and Chris Blakley of Grove City; 11 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lester Blakley, who died March 26, 2010; one infant son, Roger B. Blakley,; one granddaughter, Alyssa Blakley; one sister, Doris Mitchell; and her brother, Donald King.
BLAKLEY — Friends of Martha Blakley, who died Friday, April 17, 2015, will be received at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.Services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Scott Bates of the Mercer Baptist Church officiating. Private interment will be in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the VNA Inpatient Hospice, 115 Technology Dr., Butler, PA 16001.
