Rosalie A. Young

Rosalie A. Young, 70, of Evans City passed away Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

Rose was born Sept. 30, 1944, in Evans City, the daughter of the late Donald L. Goehring and Margaret “Peggy” (Larkin) Goehring.

Rose was the loving housewife of 54 years to Robert Young of Evans City, who she married on Aug. 3, 1961. She was the very proud mother of Laura A. Pushak and her partner, Michael McElhinny, of Butler, Kimberly S. Young of Zelienople and Robert J. (LaDonna Campbell) Young of Meridian; the sister of Anita (James) Thomas of Renfrew and Debbie (James) Fletcher of Butler; and sister-in-law of Margaret “Peggy” (Sarvey) Goehring of Prospect.

Rose is also survived by her wonderful grandchildren, Bradley P. Young, Ronald (Meadow Meeder) Pushak, Robbie (Amber Gremier) Pushak and Dane Young; her beautiful granddaughter, Lydia Young; her great-grandson, River James Pushak; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and Philip Goehring.
