Lifesteps child screening slated

Lifesteps will offer Child Check screenings for children from birth to five years:

9 to 11:30 a.m. June 1, Butler YMCA, 339 N. Washington St.

9 a.m. to noon June 15, Lifesteps Program Center, 383 New Castle Road

Appointments are recommended.

Safe driving courses planned

Seniors for Safe Driving will host the following classes for those age 55 and older:

9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 12, Cranberry Senior Center, Cranberry Township

8:30 a.m. to noon June 16 and 17, Butler Memorial Hospital

Seniors completing the course will receive a 5 percent reduction in their automobile insurance premiums for three years.

Lifesteps offers Families Forever

Lifesteps will offer a Families Forever seminar, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 13 at Lifesteps Inc., 300 Stirling Village, Route 68.

Families Forever teaches parents how to minimize the negative effects on children involved in divorce and/or custody situations.
