David A. Rishel
David A. Rishel, 54, of Sugarcreek Township, Armstrong County, died Monday at the VA Hospital in Oakland.
Born Aug. 22, 1960, he was the son of Gary L. and Hulda M. (Larson) Rishel.
A U.S. Army veteran, Dave was A private second class with the 82nd Airborne Division. He was a recipient of the Army Service Ribbon, the Parachute Badge, the Sharpshooter M-16 Badge, the Expert Hand Grenade Badge, the Army Good Conduct Medal and the Army Achievement Medal.
Dave worked with Aspen Tree Company in eastern Pennsylvania but most recently was the sole proprietor of Dave's Tree Service in East Brady.
He was a member of American Legion Post 488, Bradys Bend, and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and boating on the Allegheny.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Barb Kinkela of Sugarcreek Township; his father, Gary Rishel of Worthington; and two brothers, Gary E. Rishel (Karen) of Lyndora and Denny Rishel (Kim) of Butler. Dave is also survived by nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
