Kathleen Smith

Kathleen Smith, 64, of Buffalo Township passed at her home on Saturday while in the company of family members.

Kathy was born in Natrona Heights on Jan. 3, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Alexandria “Vi” (Skibicki) Wichrowski-Clark and John Wichrowski Sr.

She worked in customer service at Serious Windows in Parks Township for over 27 years.

Kathy enjoyed doing crafts and going with her friends to Mountaineer Resort. Kathy's greatest love was her family and getting to spend time with them at her pool and all the family parties.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, David R. Smith Sr.; their three sons, David R. (Kathleen) Smith Jr. of Leechburg, Joseph (Kimberly) Smith of West Leechburg and Brent (Brandy) Smith of Buffalo Township; and eight grandchildren, Wyatt, Jesse, Dalton, Logan and Garrett Smith, Levi McClain, and Brianna and Kasey Klapheke.

Kathy was preceded by her brother, John “Butch” Wichrowski Jr.

SMITH — Family and friends of Kathleen Smith, who died Saturday, April 11, 2015, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the REDMOND FUNERAL HOME, 524 High St., Freeport.A funeral service will be in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Kenneth Zaccagnini of St. Mary Mother of God Church, Freeport, officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
