Two theater troupes have scheduled auditions for multiple upcoming shows.

ComtraComtra Theatre will conduct auditions for the musical “Cats” from noon to 2:30 p.m. June 6 and 3:30 to 6 p.m. June 7 at the theater on Route 19 in Cranberry Township.Show dates are Sept. 18, 19, 25 and 26 and Oct. 2, 3, 9 and 10.A prepared song is not necessary. Dress comfortably and wear shoes for dancing. Not all roles are dance roles.A children’s chorus is being added for young performers ages 6 to 11.Auditions for “Two by Two” will be from noon to 2:30 p.m. June 13 and 3:30 to 6 p.m. June 14 at the theater. Show dates are Aug. 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22.There will be an open audition to showcase vocal range with movement. There will be cold readings from the script with a focus on believability.And “Seussical! The Musical” auditions will be from 6:30 to 10 p.m. June 23 and 25. Show dates will be Sept. 4, 5, 11, 12, 18 and 19.Those auditioning should dress comfortably and wear dance style shoes for a small dance audition.Roles are available for anyone up to age 20.
