Frances J. Conlon

Frances J. Conlon, 76, of Butler passed away peacefully Friday at the Oak Grove Center in Cranberry Township in the comfort of her children.

Born Aug. 21, 1938, in Ambridge, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Bernice Stoloski Augustine.

She had been a homemaker. Formerly she was employed for many years at the Butler Florist.

She was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Christian mothers guild. She enjoyed floral arranging, crafts, baby-sitting her grandchildren and many family beach vacations.

Surviving are two sons, Raymond (Nance) Conlon of Renfrew and Richard (Maureen) Conlon of Trappe, Md.; and two daughters, Cheryl Schubert of Butler and Michelle (Scott) Stephens of Cranberry Township. Grandma Franny will also be sadly missed by her 10 grandchildren, Katie, Abby, Molly and Libby Conlon, Jake and Emily Conlon, Allison and Madison Schubert, and Andrew and Emma Stephens. She also is survived by two sisters, Janet (Rudolph) Ochaba of Butler and Alice (John) Richmond of Wexford; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh L. Conlon, who passed away Dec. 12, 1992. They were married Oct. 4, 1958.

CONLON — Visitation for Frances J. Conlon, who died Friday, April 10, 2015, will be private.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, Meridian. Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.Arrangements are by the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.Memorial donations can be made to the Employee Appreciation Fund, Sherwood Oak Resident Association at 100 Norman Drive, Cranberry Township, PA 16066. Attn: Lori Greer.
