Richard J. Woods Jr.

Richard J. Woods Jr., 48, of Cranberry Township passed away Thursday at home.

Born Oct. 11, 1966, in Pittsburgh, he was the beloved son of the late Richard J. Woods Sr. and Carol A. Osterritter Woods of Harrisville, who survives.

Richard was a 1985 graduate of Seneca Valley High School. He served nine years in the U.S. Air Force in aircraft maintenance and seven years in the National Guard. He was employed as a service technician for RAC for 15 years, then at UF Liners, Bard Medical Equipment Co. and Enerstar. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching hockey and football.

Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife, Tricia E. Shoup; his son, Andrew J. Woods of Cranberry Township; one sister, Bonnie Seelbaugh of Grove City; one nephew, Randall Harsh of Slippery Rock; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

WOODS — A memorial service for Richard J. Woods Jr., who died Thursday, April 2, 2015, will be held at a future date.Arrangements handled by the BRADY FUNERAL HOME, Pittsburgh.
