FRANKLIN TWP, Beaver County — The Red Barn Players will present the musical “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” as part of the Theatre for Young Audiences Project.

The family-friendly musical based on the comic strip “Peanuts” will go on at 2 p.m. May 16, 17, 23 and 24 at the Red Barn Theatre on Route 288, the Ellwood-Zelienople Road.

While Snoopy and Linus daydream all day, the rest of the friends battle over kites, school, baseball and misunderstandings before finally coming to realize what really makes them happy.

The show is directed by Toni Schlemmer of Zelienople.

The cast includes Slippery Rock residents Joe Karl as Charlie Brown, Carina Iannarelli as Lucy and Karleigh Santry as Sally; Zach Malinak of Conway as Linus; Ian Patterson of Beaver Falls as Schroeder; Shane Treloar of McDonald as Snoopy; and Melissa Patterson of Monaca as Woodstock.

The ensemble includes Cassidy Spirk of Cranberry Township; Caroline Zulick of Zelienople; Jackie Higby of Slippery Rock; Annabella Danko of Slippery Rock Township; Debrah Evans, Annie Danko and Lexi Catalano, all of Ellwood City; Ashley Malinak and Connor Benson, both of Conway; Kathryn Scott of Beaver; Jack Lopuszynski of Gibsonia; and Kasidy Schlemmer from Beaver Falls.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for those younger than 18.
