Pattie J. Fennell, 82, of Butler passed away at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on Feb. 27, 1933, in New Castle to the late Clifford Johnson and Katherine Thompson Johnson.

Pattie was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Community Alliance Church, where she enjoyed going to church and family reunions. In her earlier years, she was very devoted to her church. Pattie was also very active at all Sunnyview functions.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and eating pizza with lots of meat.

Pattie is survived by her two sons, Kevin Fennell and Paul Fennell, both of Butler; her three daughters, Paula Davis and her husband, Thomas, of West Sunbury, Becky Snyder and her husband, Raymond, of Fenelton and Linda Hortert and her fiance, Gary, of Butler; her 11 grandchildren; her 17 great-grandchildren; her niece, and her nephew.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Young; her granddaughter, Holly Rankin, and her sister, Shirlee Bayer.

Fennell— According to her wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral services for Pattie J. Fennell, who passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015.

Arrangements are by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Butler.
