And the winner is ... Art show honors reported

“Pomegranates for Dinner” by Meghan Clemm won Best of Show at the reception Friday for the Associated Artists of Butler County Spring Art Show, continuing through May 22 at the Butler Art Center.

Awards were handed out Friday for the Associated Artists of Butler County Spring Art Show, which continues through May 22 at the Butler Art Center, 344 S. Main St.

Best of Show was awarded to “Pomegranates for Dinner” by Meghan Clemm.

Awards in other categories were:

Peter Cehily, second for “Alloy”

Joy Lauric, third for “Fall Still Life”

Ralph D’Antonio, honorable mention for “Dead Mickey”

 Drawing (pen and ink, pencil, pastels)

Terry Hagen, first for “C1”

John Kaylor, second for “Driving Ms. Ellie”

Marilyn Tynan, third for “Sam”

Paige Kleinfelder, honorable mention for “Summer in the City”

Photography/digital art

Meghan Clemm, first for “Slowly”

Helen Bunting-Hart, second for “LeMont”

Sarah Dixon, third for “Dream Series #1”

Debra Pruskowski, honorable mention for “Bottles Up”

The Art Center is open noon to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and from noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
