CRANBERRY TWP — Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic High School will present the musical “Kiss Me, Kate” at 7:30 p.m. May 1 and 2 and at 2:30 p.m. May 3. All performances are in the high school auditorium, 1617 Route 228.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens and are available at www.cwnchs.org under “events.”

“Kiss Me, Kate,” with music and lyrics by Cole Porter, involves the production of a musical version of William Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew” and the conflict onstage and off between Fred Graham, the show’s director, producer and star, and his leading lady, his ex-wife Lilli Vanessi. A secondary romance concerns Lois Lane, the actress playing Bianca, and her gambler boyfriend, Bill, who runs afoul of some gangsters.
