SUV clips utility pole in city this morning
A Ford Explorer this morning wrecked into a utility pole at the corner of Wayne and South McKean streets.
No injuries were reported in the 6:02 a.m. accident.
Butler police report a 24-year-old Butler man was westbound on Wayne when his SUV left the street and hit a street light, breaking metal off its base, before shearing the pole, which powers city street lights.
The driver is being cited for not driving at a safe speed.
