BHS choir students to perform concert

BUTLER TWP — The Butler Senior High School music department will present a special concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the senior high school auditorium, 120 Campus Lane.

The first half of the concert will be a set of solos and duets by choir students, and the second half will be the choral masterwork “The Holocaust Cantata.”

Guest speaker Shulamit Bastacky will introduce the cantata and tell her own survival story from the Holocaust.

Bowlathon helps Autism Speaks

There will be a bowlathon fundraiser from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at Family Bowlaway Fun Center, 540 Fairground Hill Road.

All proceeds will be donated to Autism Speaks on behalf of “A Tale Of Two Brothers.”

The entry fee will include three hours of bowling, shoe rental and unlimited soft drinks. Arrive at 6:30 p.m. for shoes and lane assignments.

Market benefits Harmony Museum

HARMONY — The Harmony Museum, 218 Mercer St., will sponsor a flea market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 25, in the museum’s Stewart Hall. Food will be available.

Proceeds from table rentals and sales at a museum booth will benefit museum operations.

Library hosts spring sale

FREEPORT — Freeport Public Library, 428 Market St., will have its spring fundraising sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 25 as part of Freeport’s Spring Fling.

To donate flea market items and used books and CDs, take them to the library during normal business hours.
