In loving memory of our Dad and Granddad, Robert C. Christy, who passed away 29 years ago today. April 11, 1986.

So long ago, but it seems like yesterday.

We were told you would not make it through the night.

You fought so hard to stay.

But God watched as you suffered.

And knew you had your share.

He closed your weary eyes.

And took you in His care.

It broke our hearts to lose you.

But you did not go alone;

A part of us went with you.

The night God took you home.

You will always be a special part of us.

Till we are all together again.
