Franklin John Nicolazzo
Franklin John Nicolazzo, 57, of Butler passed away Friday.
Born on Jan. 7, 1958, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of Michael Nicolazzo and Patricia Hoak Nicolazzo of Penn Township.
Frank and his father operated the MFN Garage in Penn Township, Butler County, until the business was destroyed in a tornado in 1985. He then moved to Missouri, where he was the owner of Frank's Garage Doors.
Frank collected and enjoyed auto body work, auto mechanics and classic cars. He was a hard worker and just enjoyed life every day.
Frank was a devoted Christian who absolutely loved the Lord, but yet a free spirit, who could always put a smile on your face. He was such an incredibly kind-hearted man who would always put others before himself. He was known as “Frank the Tank” and drove “Old Whitney.”
Frank was a family man who loved his family unconditionally, and he loved his dogs. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. He will be missed by so many. A great man lost who will never be forgotten but will forever live in our hearts!
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his two brothers, Randy (Laura) Nicolazzo of Madison, Ohio, and Tim (Christie) Nicolazzo of Butler; his four sisters, Linda (Robert) Moore of Phoenix, Ariz., Cindy (Michael) Nicolazzo Martin of Saxonburg, Pattie (James) Walker of Butler and Rose (Phil) Cerney of Butler; and his stepsister, Samantha Edwards Nicolazzo of Butler.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael “Mikey” Nicolazzo, and his niece, Ashley Marie Martin.
Nicolazzo— The friends of Franklin John Nicolazzo, who passed away Friday, March 6, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kevin Bowen.
