David Francis 'Dave' Angert

David Angert

David Francis “Dave” Angert, 70, of Butler passed away Thursday at the Countryside Convalescent Home, Mercer.

He was born on Aug. 1, 1944, in Butler, to the late Francis Anthony Angert and Mary Alacoque Niggel Angert.

Dave attended the St. Peter's Catholic School in Butler.

He worked for more than 40 years at the Penn Champ Oil Co. in East Butler.

Dave loved to collect scale model cars and loved going to model car shows with his friends. He loved his family and always looked forward to holiday gatherings. Dave also liked to socialize with his friends at restaurants downtown.

He was a member of the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

Mr. Angert is survived by his sister, Bernadette Mathieson of Mercer, and his two nieces, Cheri Runninger of Norton, Ohio, and Amy Warner of Grove City.

Angert — The friends of David Francis “Dave” Angert, who passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015, will be received from noon until the time of a blessing service at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
