JEFFERSON TWP — School went on as usual today at Knoch High and Middle schools after reports of a bomb threat during the weekend.

During the weekend, South Butler School District officials became aware of a social media posting indicating the potential presence of a bomb at the high and middle school complex, according to an e-mail sent by the district.

The threat turned out to be unsubstantiated, but heightened security immediately was put into place.
