Briggs Buck

Briggs R. Buck, 16, of Chicora passed away at 10:30 p.m. Friday as the result of an ATV accident in Fairview Township, Butler County.

Briggs was born Sept. 11, 1998, in Butler to Charles “Chuck” Buck and Kimberly Slater Buck of Chicora.

He was a sophomore at Karns City High School, where he was on the football team. Briggs was a member of the Tetelestai Church in New Kensington.

He worked for his “Pap” at Slater's Meats and More.

Briggs had a passion for weightlifting.

In addition to his parents, Briggs is survived by his sister, Charlana Kaczmarek and her husband, Charles, of Butler; his brother, Levi P. Buck of Chicora, and his nephew, Jack Kaczmarek. Briggs is also survived by his “Pap,” Robert Slater of Karns City, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother and his paternal grandparents.

Buck — The family of Briggs R. Buck, who passed away Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, will receive friends from 2 p.m. to the time of funeral services at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2217 Chicora Road, Chicora, with the Rev. A. Rick Knapp, his pastor, officiating. Private burial will be in the Rosewood Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Karns City High School, Weightlifting Club, c/o Brian Markle, 1446 Kittanning Pike, Karns City, PA 16041.Arrangements are by the William F.
