3 county residents arrested on drug charges in W.Va.

WESTOVER, W.Va. — Three Butler County residents — one a fugitive — were arrested on felony drug charges at an apartment complex in northern West Virginia.

Loud music and the strong odor of burning marijuana coming from an apartment Wednesday caught the attention of officers and led to the arrests, police said.

Charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance were Sarah Archer, 26, and Qureem Overton, 32, both of Butler; and Katelin Conner, 18, of Lyndora.

Archer is also charged with being a fugitive from Butler County.

Archer, Overton and Conner were placed in the North Central Regional Jail on $50,000 bail each. Overton and Conner were released Thursday after posting bail, a jail spokesman said.

Archer, who remains jailed, has been wanted by authorities in Butler County since a bench warrant was issued here.
