Dek hockey taking sign-ups

CRANBERRY TWP — Cranberry Township Parks and Recreation is taking registration for dek hockey leagues for children age 4-18. League play will begin in April.

Football sign-ups are held today

The Seneca Valley North football team is hosting sign-ups for football players ages 6 through 12 from noon to 4 p.m. today (March 29) at the Evans City Fire Hall.

Football camp reaches 20th year

PINE TWP — Eric Kasperowicz’s 20th annual youth football camp takes place from 8 a.m. to noon June 22-25 at the Pine-Richland High School Stadium.

Powerlifting meet set for April 11

There is an open high school powerlifting meet April 11 at Ford City High School.

There will be three prizes in the bench press and deadlift contests with trophies being awarded in 10 different weight classes.

Hunter-trapper education classes are available this spring.

The Butler County Softball Umpires Association will have its annual meetings April 12 and April 26 at Christian Missionary Alliance Church at 800 Mercer Road.
