Buffalo VFC holds drive for donations

BUFFALO TWP — The Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Company is conducting its fund drive.

Letters recently were mailed to residents, businesses and property owners in the area. Other donations also are being accepted.

Donations can be mailed to: Buffalo Township V.F.C., P.O. Box 155, Sarver, PA 16055.

Medicare changes focus of program

CENTER TWP — Health care professionals from Good Samaritan Hospice and Butler Memorial Hospital will offer a program on Medicare changes at 11 a.m. Saturday at Concordia at the Orchard, 104 Concordia Way.

The session is for caregivers and the public. It will focus on the new Medicare and private insurance guidelines and how to make choices for different levels of care.
